GLENDORA SUMMER SWIM TEAM 2024
The summer 2024 season is right around the corner! Glendora’s summer swim team begins the week of June 17th and ends Thursday August 1st. Below is the link to our digital flip-book - Glendora’s City Park’s and Recreation.
Tryouts are scheduled for: Tuesday, May 21st or May 23rd @ 4:30pm or Tuesday June 11th or Thursday June 13th between 9:00am - 12pm or 4pm-6pm - Comme during any of the listed times to the Glendora High School Aquatic Center to tryout AND sign up @ the pool.
Participants will be required to swim 25 yards (1 length across the pool) unassisted Swimmers of all levels, beginner to advanced, are welcome.
Practice Schedule: Monday thru Thursday 3:00-4:00 pm. Swimmers are allowed to come to the Friday 1:00-3:00 rec swim for free if they are a member of the summer team

Cost: $200.00 per person due at tryouts. Venmo, Zelle, or Checks payable to Glendora Aquatics Includes instruction, cap, swim meets, and awards.

WHAT IS THE SUMMER SWIM TEAM AND WHO IS IT FOR?
The Summer Swim Team is a 6 week summer recreational team that teaches swimmers ages 6-18 years old the 4 competitive strokes and racing strategies. Proper stroke technique is emphasized and pre-arranged swim meets for introduction to competition. Swimmers will learn and compete in a fun, relaxed environment to encourage and build confidence. This is a great opportunity for your swimmer to get their feet wet and introduce them to a competitive swim program. Many swimmers that participate in the summer program join the year round team after the completion of the summer because they enjoy the sport, their friends, and the program.
